Getting Started: The Intake Process:
Your first session will begin with a warm and welcoming intake, where we'll hear you out as you tell your story and the reasons you're seeking therapy.
During this intake session, we'll also discuss confidentiality and the boundaries that govern our work together.

Setting Clear Goals:
After understanding your story, we’ll collaborate with you to set clear, achievable goals for therapy. These goals help guide our work together and ensure we are moving toward meaningful progress.

Interns and Administrative Support:
At RBM Marriage and Family Therapy, we occasionally have interns available who are learning under the supervision of our licensed therapists. These interns are highly trained in relationship therapy and counseling and are here to offer additional support. Rest assured, they are skilled and prepared to provide effective therapy sessions.
For clients who choose to work with our interns, we offer a discounted rate of $35 per session, allowing access to therapy at a reduced cost while still receiving high-quality care.

Accepted Insurance Plans & Payment Options:
We are proud to work with many insurance providers to make therapy more accessible to our clients. If your insurance plan is listed below, you may be eligible for coverage of your sessions. However, if your insurance is not listed, or if you feel your needs may be better addressed by one of our Marriage Therapy Experts rather than an intern, we offer sliding scale rates for clients facing financial difficulties. For those who are out-of-network, our standard rate is $185 per session.
